Our Industry

Skilled trades are growing—and that means opportunity for you.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are currently 158,000 unfilled construction sector jobs in the U.S. – a number that is expected to increase significantly as tradespeople retire over the next decade. The ratio of construction job openings to hirings, as measured by the Department of Labor, is at its highest level since 2007.

WHY VETERANS, MEMBERS OF THE GUARD AND RESERVE, AND SPOUSES?

The military community is a natural fit for construction, since its members are primed to make onsite decisions that prioritize safety for everyone around them and for those who will come later. Military members take part in unique training that instills in them the need to work as a team, stay organized, and remain self-disciplined as they follow procedures that are set in place to mean the difference between life and death, training that is invaluable in the construction industry.
